After much research I decided 2 months ago for this printer.
My concern was to buy a printer that can quickly and economically print larger quantities (eg university scripts and texts). These requirements are fulfilled the Officejet 8100 fully.

Benefits:
+ Faster printing
+ Ink cartridges to last (got my start cartridge can print about 1,500 pages)
+ Easy installation, also on the network (WLAN integration works great).
+ Duplex functionality
+ Good workmanship
+ Large tray
+ Simple operation (display and buttons are self-explanatory)

Disadvantages:
- Relatively large (but I would also have known before;))
