I had never used a circular saw so I can not compare, but this gives me satisfaction for cutting laminated planks 19mm thick.
I even regret not having bought forward for the laying parquet 50m2 !! it would have made things easier rather than the jigsaw.
So for now, and according to my needs, very satisfied with the product
