It's been a long time ...

until finally an album comes on the market, that inspires me completely. After all the more or less disappointing last albums of great divas (of course my subjective opinion) Celine, Mariah, Madonna, Kylie ... etc. it now comes out of a corner, from which I would least expect it:
Vocally and from a talent perspective unmatched, Barbra now brings her latest work. And it's fantastic ...
Well, I had to hear it more than once to really recognize each song as a pearl, but that's what makes a good album for me from:
Just not the soft-focus, round polished Einheitspop, but the work with unexpected turns ...
So the first song (Come tomorrow) is already an absolute dream song: emotionally charged Pop in the best manner. And this is only the beginning. Every single song that follows, has its own qualities. Barry Gibb (one of the greats) seems to have the songs written on the heart and from the heart and the soul of Streisand.

Thank Streisand and Gibb, my faith in large, really good pop music is finally strengthened again.
