Another novel by Barbara Constantine in my library! I do not regret my purchase, because as usual, we are not disappointed by history. Here we find a theme quite expensive to author I believe: the relationships between different generations. This is a subject that the author treats always fine with plenty of life and plenty of sensitivity, it feels good. Let's add around this subject nature, family, memories, holidays and love and we get this nice little novel that is written in one go so we want to know what happens next !! Only little problem for me, there is too much to let go in the words and expressions used by the characters. Yes I know it's what we love about Barabara Constantine, his writing looks like our talking. But there, still I was a bit disappointed, I'd say not too much need in the familiarity because after it becomes less enjoyable. But it's a little flat, because it does detract has the quality of the novel.
