It works - mostly

With 2 PCs Since I wanted to fall back on the same printer without wanting forever changing, I was looking for a viable solution. USB switches that activate the appropriate PC via signal, hear or read again and again that it often does not work. Some one must still install a program to switch. That was all no alternative for me because of a computer running under Ubuntu (Linux) and the other under Windows. Therefore I have decided for this manual switch, although one could ask the question, of course, if you do not then continue can reposition the cable by hand. Well, it's less fumbling and one does not need to crawl behind the printer, so it already worth it.
When I got this switch from the Pearl, he no longer worked twice, then. I was quite surprised because I had not made any major changes. So I complained to Pearl, which I immediately got a second switch. This then also worked - and so far without any problems. Therefore I am - after strange beginning - with the switch very satisfied.
