I can only agree with that, this camera is exceptionally good and very close to the penny!. More camera needs, at least in the amateur and semi-professional field, nobody. By far the best bridge camera that I've ever had in his hand.
One outstanding feature for me quality is here but still noted. The autofocus impressed me. Long I have struggled with endless pumping and little and decisive AF systems. The AF of FZ1000 is - even at the telephoto end - blazing fast and fail. Toll.
I would like to prefer to deal at this point with a few features that you should know when you think about buying these not quite inexpensive camera.
1. The camera produces permanent, even the faintest, grinding noise, which may initially irritated. The One cares, the other did not hear it. The sound comes from the image stabilizer and is me. From my Olympus OM-D E-M5 and the predecessor of the FZ1000, the known FZ200 However, both cameras work fine since the day of purchase, the durability of this noise so not detrimental, it is now one of just this. It is not recorded, so it does not interfere with video playback, photo playback, incidentally, also not .. ;-)
2. The FZ1000 generated by its high speed and the 4K video mode enormous amounts of data. This requires a memory card that is also able to keep up this pace. The 10, - Euro card from discounters creates a rule or not buckled after a short time. So here is yet to be taken some money in hand. I recommend a branded product, such as the Transcend 128GB SDXC UHS-I U3 etc. The cost is about 75, - Euro.
3. Motor zoom, large screen, large amounts of data, powerful processor, all requires energy and nothing is more annoying than standing suddenly with an empty battery in front of a great motive. A spare battery is in my view therefore mandatory. But here goes a product from the accessories trade. I recommend the batteries of Patona that are inexpensive (about 15, - Euro) and reliable.
4. Who has already put so much money into their own hands, should not save the few euros for a UV filter to protect the expensive Leica lens in my opinion.
So now a lot of fun with the amazing Lumix FZ1000, I for one am thrilled.
