In direct comparison to TM:
- Smaller pot (1.5L)
- No right run, therefore it might be difficult with risotto & Co
- Mixing bowl itself can not put in the dishwasher
- With heat stages automatic rotation with 200, except at 120 degrees (no stirring)
- Lock and put some hakeliger
- Only 4 speeds (but sufficient)
- No cradle function (but I have anyway a kitchen scale)
Compare well:
- A little quieter
- End signal is not quite as flashy and arises out of its own accord
- Much cheaper
- Turbo button (by pressing it quickly once briefly häkseln)
Only like that:
- At 120 degrees below you can cook rice or potatoes (because no stirring), while top steaming
- Nice-made recipe book with tips. However, there are not so many recipes, but basics (eg for sauces, soups, etc.) Recipes from the TM can be taken, observing only the lower capacity, thus possibly correct amount downwards. For the correct rotational speed you get over time a sense (TM has indeed 10, James only 4 stages)
- In the recipes is partially also working in parallel with a pan on the stove (eg the searing of meat stew)
- Very sharp knife and sit in the pot very deep (well eg nuts and herbs)
- The enclosed spatula is just the right shape for the floor, but auszuschaben for the side he is too stiff.
Conclusion:
Do not come to the TM ran, but for smaller budgets quite sufficient
(Especially when considering the price)
What I previously could not yet be clarified: how the accessories and the replacement of parts is.
The site is still under construction, because I will give the producers some time because the device's just came out first.
Officially even only in May.
Suggestions for improvement:
- Clockwise rotation! (Or at least a cover for the blades, thus will not be crushed during stirring of the pot contents)
- Mixtopf Dishwasher
- Temperature and speed settings independently switchable and can be combined freely.
- Larger pot (2 liters there should be at least)
- Filter insert for mixing bowl, then you could also cook pasta etc. which would otherwise develop during the cooking process to the knife.
