After about 9 years and some fall to the floor (the children find as a headlamp also great ;-)) I wanted to but now a brighter headlamp for the dark season. The Tikka XP 2 can I highly recommend. The luminosity is fantastic and with the diffuser flap gets you a nice wide illumination of the route ahead. In addition, by shaking the light in front of a not so back and forth, which is very left me with selective lighting on my nerves. If the bright light you are used to live, you want to power saving mode does not use only, though that would be enough. Then, however, might be more without the flap with minor beam. Even the red-light mode I have used to get clothes out of the closet in the morning because our son has crumbled into our bed at night and I have therefore actually not woken him. Even with fog and sleet, I'm already gone through a round of evening. Since I could not see anything more with my old lamp.
