What to do when your life has lost all meaning when you are stuck in the consumer society developed to feast you the misfortune of others to feel exist? Inventing the fight club for the physical pain and the taste of your own blood free you from the fear of living. Chuck Palahniuk painted a humanity without hope, full of nihilism and offers as a unique response to blow everything up because nothing will change or save a world on the brink of chaos. It is with a kind of glee that sets up the relentless mechanics that will destroy the US and impose a new order in which the survivors of this programmed Apocalypse will "hunt elk in the forests that grow on the ruins of Rockefeller Center ". Metaphor of a terrifying enough pessimism in which a whole generation has recognized seeing the film. The novel, it is written in a crude language, minimalist and repetitive, spontaneous ruptures in any spoken language, difficult to read, even "uncomfortable." I must confess that if I had not experienced the success of the film, I would not have continued beyond the first thirty pages. That is the whole problem of this novel!
