"I bought the MIK5401 to finally learn to play keyboard. I immediately saw that it is not a 0815 keyboard, but also no quality YAMAHA has. At the processing I did not see anything that would be bad, even if the keyboard is a difficult biischen is. But that does not matter. power cord into the wall socket and off we went! At first, I have become almost deaf as the keyboard on power was set to full volume. (And this is always so) After watching the "throttled decibels" and started playing really struck me equal to the extreme keys were easy to press, there was already one clear.! as a piano SPARE AWAY Because want to learn how to play who piano and the keyboard as a substitute takes (because he hopes later a real piano possess) is wrong here. Because when you have a real piano press weighing at least 80 grams before playing properly. Here are the 50. And when you play a real piano auif find it an incredibly difficult to play because one has become accustomed to the light press. Anyway ... The sound is very good although when set to full volume, it is a bit noisy but never as one as a layman anyway so loud playing that's not disturbing. The variety of instruments is unique, even if I have the function of rhythm is still not figured out .... Some may say too little buttons that can already agree but as a beginner you no longer need anyway. All in all a good Keyaboard! But as already mentioned, it is not suited as a piano very spare. "
UPDATE 13/12/2011:
After thoroughly explore the Karchers I came to the decision to give the keyboard clearly only 2 stars. I should change the complete top review, but since this is an update, I will list the deficiencies found here. 1. There is a keyboard 0815. 0815'er not go. Karcher is just so ne discount brand which manufactures a single product once in a lifetime. 2. Speakers are scrap. The slight "noise" has turned out to be violent earthquakes. When volume level 8, the noise starts and at each higher level it is getting worse and worse. Does that mean that the speakers are total junk. 3. Sigh. Had I known then what I would have bought touch response is with absolute certainty this keyboard NOT. After a few weeks makes it easy no fun at all to play more keyboard because of a stop but very lacking ... 4. The instruments sound 5 different Inst. Completely equal. They are also all anyway realistically. 5. I'm missing many connections.
Conclusion: For which he fulfilled the purpose 2 stars (very good). But anyway, after a while the keyboard just annoying. Soon I will buy me the Yamaha EZ 200 with power supply, MIDI adapter and Synthesia (tutorial) Learning Pack. In my opinion, the ultimate weapon for mood-making play, and quick learning songs. PS @ Jennifer Grote: I submit these 54 keys not sure.
