After use simply sprayed onto the blade and brushed with a wire brush (Recommendation under guide of the scissors) the knife and the blade looked out as when delivered. For storage of the hedge trimmer the knife one more time sprayed briefly and even after several weeks is still a thin film on the knives, so does not dry out.
The spray can be metered well and spray exactly the right amount, both for cleaning and for storage. The 400 ml have now passed already for several cleanings and the can still feels quite full. If so rich for several seasons.
The smell I did not feel as overly pushy, which when applied outdoors but should not be quite so problematic anyway.
Stubborn dirt resin dissolve a little better if the spray is allowed to act for a few hours. Despite Spray should the knife before storage but before applying the spray drying necessarily to prevent rust.
