First thing I did not expect this keyboard has its own power supply and it is not easy to find him on a UPS unit already completely full but I did. Note that the power cable and USB are intelligently linked so leaving only one "big" move cable to the back of the cabinet.
Secondly, if like me you have a sliding desktop tablet careful as the rotating screen can easily save 3 to 4cm tall at the keyboard. So I, with a little elbow grease, belittled my tablet for added security.
I branch and therefore already first slap the Home screen shows a real small color screen that has nothing to do with G15
I install the dedicated software logitech downloaded directly to their website and again I am pleasantly surprised by a new key management interface much more complete and intuitive than the G15. All is not configurable on this keyboard but almost!
Note the choice of backlight display color can be customized and saved on 3 different profiles (key M1 to M3) class ^^
Note also the speaker volume control PC via a rotary knob super convenient.
Before I get on the LCD screen, a small observation on the touch side of the keyboard and again I'm super happy with the soft keys, albeit a bit noisy but very nice touch to handle. The size of the QWERTY and correct and I have no difficulty typing this criticism without infinite time to resume my typos ...
Petit also visit the two USB ports on the back of the keyboard, inconvenient access they serve me in the end to connect Doggles including that of the mouse which remains useful and frees you from ports elsewhere
Finally the LCD, qualitatively a real small screen video unfortunately underused by some apps available but what a slap appear to see the logo of "cataclysm" in color. Only downside direction keys screen navigation are much too firm and must be pressed with some insistence to use them. -> Clarification, it seems to wear it soften.
Anyway this keyboard is reserved to geek have the means to afford it.
I keep hoping for a Logitech support the development of new applications.
I also remain convinced that he had chosen well after hesitating with the G510, which, methinks, is paying too much in comparison.
A small star less for "nitpicking" but especially for the price which is still very high.
