I had KIS 2014 installed on a desktop PC. After offered by Kaspersky update to KIS 2015 Thunderbird could get no mail. Another update eliminated the problem. That's why I still bought earlier this year the three license. The desktop PC works, but now KIS Thunderbird blocked on a laptop. After having solved this problem, Dropbox did not work, no connection. After uninstalling the Windows firewall was in a completely opaque state, nothing in, nothing out, added. Restore Defaults, eliminates the problem, but only for a few minutes, then the Windows firewall is impervious to everything again. On the Kaspersky forum you will find little useful to the problem with Thunderbird, but also pointing out that it has already occurred previously.
