Why?
1. Conversion of the appliance
I did not expect that you have to replace as many parts. An "article" I have something vorgstellt me that you simply draufsetzt and off you go. Okay, that's my problem and therefore no exclusion criterion.
2. Handling
After I had all halved oranges, we set off. And then it was difficult. The gratifying strong motor of the juicer, which otherwise guarantees excellent results, is here for me a problem. You have to press quite firmly on the cone, the orange halves on, otherwise they go smoothly it. And if you still - inevitably - has juice on your hands, which is even more difficult. It also has such sprayed that you then have to clean the kitchen in a larger radius.
Since the unit is rather large, one is working in an unfavorable level while I'm 1,78 m tall, so do not grade a dwarf. I for one have the action then well noted in the arm and shoulder.
For oranges, grapefruit Clemetinen and the unit may well be appropriate, but for smaller fruits such as lemons or limes the press cone is simply too great. As already waiting cheaper devices with two differently sized towers.
3. noise
That is simply unacceptable that need not elaborate.
4. Cleaning
Surely you can rinse all parts fairly easily, but citrus pulp can be persistent. If you put the parts suitable for this purpose in the dishwasher, they claim have plenty of space.
So far I have the Zirusfrüchte always peeled and placed directly into the juicer, which went just fine and if I accreting the time for conversion of the unit and large-scale cleaning, I'm with the peeling does not slow.
I also voted for the direct comparison today my little no-name-juicer (about 15.00 euros, with two differently sized press cones, quietly and in use for years, the Braun Multiquick juicer similar) brought out of the closet and Rip-Rip a dozen lemons squeezed. The small machine suggests the Citrus Tower of Philips to lengths and also takes up less space in the cabinet.
Unfortunately, I can find the best will not, which speaks for the device.
I am happy for all those who deal with the top, for me, however, it has proved to be false purchase and takes the way back.
