Gameplay:
Ahead of the title had to contend with many reproaches. First and foremost, that the animations and much more "was stolen" Assasins Creed simply and the Arkham games. "Stolen" was here in my opinion at all. It has long been known gameplay elements together makes sense and souped up neatly with their own ideas. The control system is enormously well done and scores with high precision and good feedback (Hab it played with XBOX-ONE controller instead of mouse). The combat system is easy to learn, but not so easy to master. Button mashing can forget. The learning curve is relatively steep at the start for newcomers.
Graphics:
Graphically the game is very atmospheric therefore. The groups of Uruk are provided with a huge amount of details and always an eye catcher. You always feel that every orc is something unique. The landscape of Mordor is expected over a bit monotonous. However, this is probably the authenticity, owed as the laziness of the developers. The motion animation are all top. Especially with tumult see the Finisher from enormously stylish and make you want more.
Setting:
The background music is good in itself. However, not nearly enough to go on the soundtrack of the film trilogy.
A notable example, the voice output of the Orcs is (at least in English). Here comes on richitg mood.
That special something:
The highlight of Mordor shadow, the Nemesis system. The hero develops with the Orc Captains individual enmities that have an impact on the course of the game. Enemies who have managed to beat us in the escape or to kill even be transported and thus also stronger. Even among themselves are the Captains in the eternal dispute what Talion must use to his advantage. Later in the game it is then, however, to simply the Captains to kill. Since then also like to go 3-4 Captains simultaneously across the Anduin.
Overall impression:
Great game, not only for Tolkien fans. The story could be more exciting, but served its purpose. The end disappointed but lack of an appropriate boss battles and the protagonist remains throughout the game a little pale. Highlights of the game are the groovy combat system and the Nemesis system. We want more !!!
