First listen: I almost sent the disc live trash What is çe thing? (I specify a big fan of Valtari, for me one of the highlights of their discography). But something prompted me to come back again and again. I'm on a dozen plays and disk grows in me and I like more. This is different from classic Sigur Ros, I mean it's full of bass, saturated electro sounds. The album is clearly oriented pop, emotion is much less immediate than on other albums. Some securities made me think about the solo album Jonsi. To conclude I would say it took me several listens to begin to appreciate this album and listening to a Valtari after ten kveikur do that was better. Good album but overwhelming at first.
