Let's face it ... of course this album has only arisen because a shaggy pop star wanted to be a pop star more. I admit, I would have voted for them from the beginning, but the majority did not want to. And with this stigma they will live and have to sing.
Ultimately, the present CD here is not so bad as feared. They mixed the Euro Visions title with a few older recordings and some new songs - out came an album that nobody needs basically, but certainly shows what could become of the young singer. Why did they not give Ann Sophie the time to maturity? It will not get rid of the impression that they have already written off their record company and would only hope for a quick Euro.
I wish her every success in Austria and a good result. And then they should have the power to say no to retire in peace and publish a full-length album. Oh, and a little longer must it then be ...
