After the "Senseo Café Choco" was taken out of the range (for whatever reason), I was looking for a replacement.
This I have now probably with the "Senseo Cappuccino Choco" found. This is similar to the taste of the "Choco Café" strong, but is more of a latte with chocolate note. In any case, for all chocolate fans worth a try.
What here is the caffeine content in comparison to the "Choco Café", I can not say. But for me it plays a subordinate role. If I need a dose of caffeine, then I drink real coffee and not a mixed drink.
For packaging, I can say that these can be opened relatively heavy. This has, probably to keep on the inside now a kind of aluminum coating to the flavor better. Negative is that now holds so much of the glue on the top of the package that you inevitably burst the packaging when opening. The reclosing of the packaging is so difficult to impossible.
The "cassette", in which the powder is Senseo was, on the other hand positively changed. This is now a little flat, and the powder is distributed better in the cassette chambers, if I may say so that times. When "Choco Café" usually already stuck a little powder on the outside of the cartridge pads. This has now been resolved with the new pads better. The Pads remain clean outside.
When price has unfortunately not changed. For the "only" 8 pads in a package are due loosely 4.00 and more. If you then consider that for a pot of coffee (300 ml) two of these pads are required, you so's going on at least 1.00.
Nevertheless receives this "Cappuccino Choco" a recommendation with 4 stars from me!
