Graphics:
The graphics are very pleasant and the regions quite detailed. It can be seen very easily the difference between objects with which you can interact and pure design objects. Special Effects too (mostly in cut-scenes) often occur.
Gameplay:
You play seemingly at any time (habs not yet) not only a character but several, but always an individual. For example, you start in the Shire with Frodo and Sam, and can switch between the two characters through. Here, each character has its special abilities. Sam can plant buried, Gimli can shatter brittle stones and Aragorn Gimli can throw :).
The AI companion is also very pleasant. In combat situations although these are not much help, but in many places where a particular character is needed to help a game by getting the right character also comes along, although it has a different selected Char. And that is necessary, because, in order to move forward, often times Gimli, Legolas or Sams required skills and only one character brings a particular skill.
The combat system is maintained at least at first very simple. There is no battle combos, but only one stroke sequence and possibly a jump attack. But one can, depending on your mood fighting with any character, and these all have a different fighting style.
Sound:
The sound is great. You can hear anytime the legendary Lord of the Rings titles in the background as music. Always match the scenery. The setting of the voices are very well done. One might almost think the original movie voices heard.
Total:
Overall it is a pleasant game for in between, if you do not look at times the 12 Hours movie or want to read the books. The story is indeed logically nowhere completely new, but refreshed with a little more humor. For action fans, it will be very boring well, at least initially. But action adventurers I recommend the game you. Lord of the Rings fans make here also nothing wrong.
There are four stars in the game on my part, because it is a good game for in between, but now not a total skin off your feet and the fight at least initially, is not compelling.
