Installation: easy, only HDMI, - connect and power cables, works.
I have additionally equipped the analog audio output
and 410 connected to a Yamaha Piano Craft - no problem.
An HDMI cable is not included by the way in the delivery.
The configuration is self-explanatory. However, I do not use
Networking features. After a few minutes everything is settled.
BluRay's: On TV appears briefly on whether a DVD or BluRay is inserted.
Although I have not "Avatar" BluRay, but it should cause problems
come when you play, there are already two updates that either
can be imported via network or CD.
DVD's: The picture is excellent. On my 32-inch Sony EX700 is between
BluRay and DVD practically no difference detected. This may in
bigger screens to be different, I can not judge.
Noise: I was a little insecure because at the Sony BluRay players many reviews
indicate arge noise. I have there probably were lucky: while
the film is not operating noise perceived (distance about 3 meters)
This is true for BluRay's and DVD's. Of course, during the first
Einleseschritte a low mechanical noise audible,
but that is negligible. Each computer drive is louder ...
Updates: A bit annoyed I was there already: it is not possible via USB
to make an update. If you have no network connection, only remains
the way to burn the files to a CD. This however works then
easily.
Conclusion: So, as my experience with the Sony BDP-S470 is, I can do it without restriction
Recommend.
