Hello There! I have experienced Secret Garden (by chance) in March this year in their concert in Sydney. I was excited and bought something like a best-of album "Dreamcatcher" from you. That was a mistake, because it turned out very quickly that I wanted to have all the CDs of these two musicians, which has now come to pass. I knew Secrect Garden since her Grand Prix victory and liked their music, but this year I have rediscovered it and they are for me the (re) discovery of the year. My God what I've played their CDs! Actually, all of them earning the top grade CDs out of 5 stars, but this CD will find special mention. Why? Listen to even the title track "Dawn of the New Century to" and then you know why. A dramatic, powerful, haunting little musical artwork of over 6 minutes in length, with a melody that gets stuck, and after you're out of breath at the end. Even after the Xth Hear it pulls me over and over again in his spell. The other pieces on the CD are beautiful and sometimes very beautiful and moving in the "Review" all in the range of 4-5 stars. The two likeable musicians do with their friends a wonderful music in the field of tension between classical, Irish and Scandinavian folklore with an emotion and intensity that is unparalleled. Is on this CD on some songs (very nice) sung, including by Fiona itself. Most of the tracks are instrumental, however, and rather quiet, dreamy. If my "battery" must be recharged again, then with music like this. And a CD with music of this group is now part of my basic "survival kit" on (business) trips. Hopefully soon more people know such a wonderful music?
