According to previous reviews I was skeptical, but I caught a flawless copy with no dropouts. The lamp is much brighter than any previously used LED lamps. The illumination is very even and especially nearly spherical, which prevents unsightly shadows on lampshade. The light color is very pleasant without being overly hot or too strong to drift into reddish. Only downside is the rather impressive price.
Update: A second copy of this lamp works perfectly.
