To keep a long story short: they are a complete replacement for 40W incandescent bulbs, light color and lighting are perfect for ceiling lamps.
In my experience with LED bulbs, I'm not assuming that they break in the coming months - in contrast to energy-saving lamps!. I have my two corridors are already 10/2009 and the kitchen with LEDs lit and still had no failure, a different model - but the trend is clear.
