Since I am working with a full-frame camera and large RAW files to 35MB, I was in Photoshop Lightroom often on my patience limit. Fast Images surveys or complex adjustments were always associated with stuttering and waiting times. When exporting hundreds files (after the holidays or events) and the associated converting to JPG, I could forget about the computer (16GB RAM, Win7-64) for good fifteen minutes.
By 8350 it's finally back to work fun. Liquid Image overviews / Rate, no stuttering when image adjustments and the export takes only half as long.
The AMD Overclocking tool showed me in the benchmark so far to 5,700 values (1055T @ 3.0GHz). The FX 8350 is the default setting with 4GHz at 12,600 points. So almost a doubling of the value.
Other applications (even games ;-) benefit significantly from the exchange.
Should I have been doing a lot more ...
