The design is really very appealing way, which fits very well to the silver silverback of the iPad, the processing and haptics are compelling. Now, of course, begs the question of whether even the back of the Logitech Tatstatur requires a protective film to prevent scratches - it can not hurt ... In addition, in the scarce manual accessories are recommended, which must ultimately everyone decide for themselves. Since four small transparent rubber feet are included, but you actually have a good basic protection.
The iPad2 goes well in the case, the pads are also managed and provide sufficient protection. The iPad2 is sitting with me almost too hard in case, nothing can fall out, interestingly, was misbehaving with other customers. Perhaps this is the passage of time for something else. A pity, however, that my iPad1 is not compatible (you can however set up in case). It can be assumed that this is also true for the upcoming iPad3. Future compatibility for technical products is always a bit tricky.
As can be seen on a product image for an B can charge / sync cable can be connected., Also a headphone jack is possible when the iPad is in the case. Unfortunately, can not be placed with a thin plastic sheath into the iPad Case, only a sheet on the back of the iPad is not disturbing. The placement (portrait / landscape on edge) in the Case is not possible with a silicone case, the practicality is so limited.
So, who writes a lot and wants to use his iPad2 comfortable even standing, can with the Logitech keyboard are happy, everyone else does not really need, but the eye eats also - since before launch of the iPad were a lot of opinion, one do not need a Tablet / iPad - has so far always "need" an individual decision.
Quick Overview:
+ Sophisticated design
+ Light weight
+ For prolific writer suitable (word processing, as well as e-mails)
+ Pleasing keyboard, also "grippy" enough
+ Ports in Case accessible (in a horizontal position of the iPad2)
+ Color matching the iPad-back
+ Pairing works without problems, found no disturbing disconnections
+ Optionally also usable when iPad is not inserted in case - for whatever reason ;-)
+/- Unfortunately only designed for iPad2 (value-neutral, as is pointed out in the product description)
+/- For larger hands are not so well suited keyboard size
+/- The black keyboard is of course a certain amount of dust magnet, but it affects the color black again in silver Case very classy
+/- In my view it is impractical that the (mini) USB port is located on the outside right
-. Those who do not use the rubber feet on the Case (optical reasons), U. u needed extra protection (foil, etc.) - Surcharges
- Relatively concise quick reference guide, not all ("foreign") buttons are described
- Similar with Silicone Sleeve not used, these must be removed unfortunately
- The notch for inserting the iPad itself is not gummed - acting is not very good - hopefully gives the permanent scratches on the unprotected back of the iPad
- By design, the notch should actually be lower because slippage of the iPad is possible
- Accessories scarce, very short USB cable attached, small protective case would have been reasonably priced
For me as a user Silkonhülle the whole thing is getting used to because the iPad2 lying in Case now back tend etc. a new thin protective film required. Who can do without it, gets a nice article, which is nevertheless sufficiently practicable. Due to the limitations for me it is enough even for 3 points.
