Direct advance, the master is doing well vocally, significantly better than on "Purple at Montreux 2006". For times of the recording he was, after 61 years, which one hardly observes him. He has assembled a really good band around. From blues to almost Heavy Metal is offered us everything. Actually songs from (almost) every musical phase are represented by him. Highlights for me are `` Not Wasted sunsets` and responsible`, both from "Perfect Strangers" album, which will never be played by Purple. For this, the Kracher `Unchain your brain`,` When a blind man cries`, `Trouble` and conclude` Knocking at Your Back door`. Unfortunately, there is `Trashed` or other songs from his time with Black Sabbath (" Born Again ").
People, "Live in Anaheim" makes a lot of fun. The band and the Masters are in a good mood. The sound is good and the proof is that older people / musicians can rock. In this form, Ian may like to continue for another 10 years. 5 Stars.
