Live music and pure passion!

This live DVD is the best thing there is from Shakira. Shakira waived dance groups, they focused on their music, and that is one reason why their concerts are so enthusiastic. Which does not mean that it no longer completely on show. But the show shares are well measured.

For example, it rises at the beginning of the concert from a huge snake, at the beginning of "Estoy Aqui" she dances like a cat on the floor, in "Octavo Dia" bear all musicians masks of politicians and at the end of the concert with "Whenever, Wherever" floats it in a basket on a crane over the audience.

The concert, which is on the DVD, was filmed on April 22, 2003 in Rotterdam. There, the crane has failed due to a technical defect. So they took the corresponding sequence from Antwerp. At this point, a few seconds from Paris were recorded (indicated by the red seats, who wants to watch it closely, the picture in the appropriate places must stop). But all this is so well laid out that one does not notice it if you do not know it. (I have this information not from an official source, but I was even in Antwerp, Rotterdam and Paris and am therefore quite sure).

The concert in Rotterdam was also of the atmosphere in the audience her one of their best, if not the best. That's brow of Shakira's popularity in Holland not surprising. The concert was sold out within a quarter of an hour. Also I had to buy on the black market outside the hall a ticket. In "Underneath Your Clothes" one has to chant more by the public as part of her.

Both the Spanish and their English songs come across well, and I must say that in Spanish they can do better. No wonder it is, after all, their native language.

Even in the studio version arg smooth and jazzy "Ready for the Good Times" comes at the concert over the right rock.

Ever Shakira was moved this evening by the frenetic audience and obviously nervous about the recording of the concert, which is only human. The concert began only a few minutes before 22 clock, but should begin at 21.15.

Shakira has the Publkum then also said that the concert for a live album will be recorded, but this spot is missing on the DVD. Also missing three songs: "Dude Looks Like a Lady" (Aerosmith cover), "Fool" and "Un Poco de Amor". The absence of these songs as well as some other small things and the fact that the short "Ode to the Mongoose" on DVD before "Back in Black" (AC-DC cover) was placed (it was at the concerts before "Poem to a Horse "played), is the only thing missing this DVD to perfection.

It is worth it. The concerts by Shakira to be the best that I have seen in my entire life.
