Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds (Deluxe Edition) (Audio CD)

Customer Review

What Noel in his "Making Of" video says about the theme of the album, you can feel every minute in every note, every chord, every line of text: longing and love. That sounds soft flushed and spent than you think. And who knew Oasis Noel and consequently knows, who knows what he saying and where he wants to take us. Ultimately, says his great music itself and receives a already the first track with a friendly, warm and familiar embrace, in which you want to snuggle up and only then explode out of her. This album is more than just a solo project of Oasis-maker. It is worth more than to be compared only with Oasis, although the result may not be unique, because it provides evidence that Noel was Oasis and we indeed give us in the future, the well-known names, but to us more albums by Noel Gallagher happy, yes it can hinfiebern. Ultimately, it also demonstrates why the last Oasis albums were weaker than the first: Noel had withdrawn and ceded the reins to his brother retraced his modest abilities on the "Beady Eye" plate "Different Gear, Still Speeding 'be can. Noel creates with this album what Beady Eye has not just made: It brings the first to the last track a familiar atmosphere à la "Cast No Shadow" & "Do not Look Back In Anger" in the ear canal and documented the love of "singer-songwriter" art at a high level. Where Beady Eye had to lie a belly landing, for lack of a creative mind, the à la "The Roller" pressed more than one in Oasis-sounding song ears known for marketing, Noel is here a soaring success. Here, and I really need to keep Noel good, he keeps his former colleagues to very overcast and seniert the end of the "Making Of" great, "I'm not a great guitarist, I'm not a great singer, I 'm not great at anything. I'm great at being me and doing what I do and that's it! " This modesty and grounded self-reflection was his brother from always. Noel has it, in stark contrast to his former band members, not just necessary, ambiguous album title á la "Although somewhat different, but still full of Mega!" to propaganda and marketing purposes to pepper in the supposedly naive fan base. Even at the press conference he forbade any speculation, "The Death Of You And Me" would even remotely to do with Liam and the band separation. Well done: the music is much too beautiful to be about distributing the tabloid soup and Noel has, as one can therefore sum up, finished, unlike his brother with the topic. If you need to stiffen on the comparison, in which more Oasis album's inside, so you would have to, after having clarified that determines every fan of Oasis liked something else and of course, the diversity of the two Gallaghers always had its appeal and the band a piquant frame gave reverently hold Noel Gallagher album into the air and, anyway, thank which higher beings that there is something that man is called "music". So on a new era, the era of "Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds"! Thank Noel, you are a true, great artist.
