Loose connection at Lightning connector and occasional errors

At first I was happy with this cable and the 12V adapter very. Unfortunately, now piling up in less than 2 weeks using the loose contacts on Lightning connector. These things I have observed both on my iPhone 5 as well as on my iPhone 6. When iPhone 6 also occasionally the message that the cable is not supported.

Two days ago I received the replacement for the defective unit. This time, the cable worked perfectly. After only one day use the cigarette plug is suddenly no more power from and smells verschmorrt.
