In remembrance remained melody lines of the piano, the glock bright, light-footed, interwoven strange squiggles and enjoyed hearing. Reminiscent of Pat Metheny Group may have been intended.
Here at Amazon you will find only a CD from an estimated eight of his early works playful: Forgotten Gardens, released in 1993 along with the studio musician and music teacher Peter Weihe and saxophonist Charlie Mariano. Outstanding are the pieces "Solution", an in the height screwing piano melody, "On the Lankans Lake," a dreamy shimmer, which merges into a flying saxophone melody, easily and quickly from the piano, bass and drums accompanied, and perhaps even "Dust in the Sun ", a slow, almost sleeping melody.
The two special pieces are actually so beautiful that they trigger a five star rating. Other pieces are partially just not quite as interesting, or miss this special piano melodies that Thilo von Westernhagen sometimes casually flowing from his fingers into the keys. Peter Weihe lives in some pieces, even the two most beautiful, pushy in his solos and somehow intently out.
In my quiet moments this CD was a love musical accompaniment already in a short time.
