Plus points:
+ The speed is fast enough to not get bored, overwhelmed children but not
+ The directional stability is good, and can also be adjusted, if not
+ Remote control does not have a steering wheel, but two rocker arms for forward - backward, left - right
+ Steering and throttle are digital (or full lock out), which corresponds to the steering behavior of children
+ Size and weight of the buggy allow inside and outside to drive as long as you're not in high grass on the go
+ The suspension to work and increases the stability of
+ Chassis and body are flexible and stable, and tolerate the rough kids driving style problems
+ The wheels are large enough to drive over obstacles (curbs, pebble)
+ The tires leave no black stripes on the floor
+ A set of batteries will last more than an hour!
+ The buggy looks good
+ The price for the offered low (nearly 15 euros on Amazon)
Bad points:
- Everything is made of plastic and will quickly break
- The lever of the remote control require a relatively large force, but are very unstable
- A precise steering is not possible because the wheels either fully hit or not
- The lever of the fine adjustment of the steering sits quite loose and you have him ever in his hand (he can, however, simply re-insert)
- Pure entry-level model, which is bored an older child (7+) probably quickly
Conclusion:
Our 5-year-old got the Dirt Slammer for Christmas and absolutely loved it!
A battery pack holds a surprisingly long time and handling and construction allow use indoors and outdoors.
Addendum: After a week of continuous use, the provision of the remote control lever stops working (broken plastic). The car can still run normally.
Addendum 2: In February 2014, the drive makes noises now and slips through. 2.5 months so was the life at the beginning of frequent use. Shame
