Now, the thermostat may have to be trained. But the Cube Guide refers to the thermostat instructions and the thermostat instructions on "the Internet". So fired up a well-known US search engine. After "max thermos" beats "max thermostat train" before. Seems the kids from the manufacturer are the only ones who have not yet realized how lousy the instructions.
What the producer can not, the search engine can. It provides a PDF with cryptic name that contains the complete instructions and "train" to search by explained on page 17 actually in the document, it was necessary for the Boost button for three seconds. Just ... once you know it.
And then everything works! Clicked in the browser "new device" and the Cube goes into pairing mode. Pressed on the thermostat "Boost" ... after 2 seconds search, the two have found. The Cube is still looking for a bit for other devices. Then the thermostat is there.
Unfortunately, only locally. On the web site tells me that my cube had a long time not logged in. WTF ... the flashing LED has therefore still a meaning? But, dear developers ... maybe compensated Google weekend the incompetence of the documentation department were yet ...?
Addendum: The lack of internet access was the Admin program. As long as this is running on the computer in the LAN, the login on the website of the manufacturer is not possible. Exit program clean (in the taskbar), and it works - So. The impression remains: ingenious system, but a solid step-by-step guide sollter the manufacturers provide urgent and prominent link to its website.
