In this respect, I called the customer service Gastroback and described my problem. I got the statement that below the filter a "splash" of plastic should be used in the filter holder. However, this was not included in the delivery. Moreover surprise the fact that this plastic part is Werder mentioned in the accessories list in the FAQs in troubleshooting even a word. The supports Vermutzung that here a construction / production defect should be corrected with a cheap plastic part. A counter-argument could not give me the customer service!
The lady from the customer service told me that I should immediately get these shields. Well, I soon from here .... by 3 further contacts / complaints and not true promises of customer service I have today, 3 weeks later, not having received this splash. I was offered a free AusklopfbehÀlter (I have unfortunately also bought) offered as compensation and now I got the statement that the splash guard in January is available again. I was also promised that I should get the double filter again ("going out Monday" .... Today is Thursday and have been nothing but expenses !!) that can technically / logically resolve the problem in any way.
The company Gastroback is for me now definitely no choice for a working coffee maker and in particular a functioning customer service (if there such a thing is .... the lady with whom I had contact leads the term "sale" in the email signature!) ,
The machine and the coffee grinder Gastroback go back today to Amazon.
The 2 stars are there solely for the quality and good design ..... but that is of no value if the machine is not done the basic function without the non-deliverable additional plastic and the customer service fails completely. Too Bad.
