I have the part on a 18-55mm kit lens (I am actually very happy with) attached. Although there is wide-angle, but distorted to me too much. I would rather take two photos and Shortcut 'the two. But the macro function to be proud of. On a 50mm fixed focal length once I had the magnifying glass part and could make class macros of spiders. The whole thing is highly recommended and worth the money due.
