Kenneth Cook had delivered a collection of stories on all the exotic wildlife of Australia, human and animal, in "The koala Killer: And Other Stories of the bush". This second volume does nothing mars the first. We meet the same mad thirst for the absolute, alcohol and pranks; as well as animals to the original behavior and usage. Between suicidal kangaroos, snakes edgy, koalas and wombats bombs inconvenient, the player will provide knowledge of the island continent countdown postcard images. As for the Australians encountered in his wanderings, the author paints a picture unvarnished where humor does still not mask the pride nor the affection of the rub. But let's face it is unusual to get familiar with a seller grenades (not the fruit) or a shark fisherman.
Writing Cook is incisive, precise and to the point, with a serious sense of humor. This is what one expects from a short story and it's perfect.
