Madonna 80

Madonna 80

True Blue (Remastered) (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Clearly, this "album" THE Madonna album of the 80s. For me, it has several reasons:

1. I had at that time almost three hours waiting in line to purchase the in the GDR strictly limited edition.

2. Previously, in December 1986, got my brother borrowed this LP. Papa Dont Preach I had heard and since then this record day and night was over Christmas and New Year. I believe that this has something to do with the fact that my brother never was allowed to warm up for decoupling Frozen Clip again :-).

3. For me, anyway started with this record a hectic time, namely to get everything about this legendary woman in the fingers, all LPs, singles and maxis. It was an expensive time :-)).

4. Actually, my favorite song by Madonna "Gambler", which is unfortunately gone forever anyway. Luckily I still have the single and the Maxi. The times on the edge.

5. "True Blue" I think Madonna has confirmed her star Its a hundredfold. Was one of "Madonna" and "Like A Virgin" Although pleasantly surprised, especially from former albums originate the most legendary songs, now no longer came up with the idea Madonna was something like a flash in the pan, as in 1985/86 still very many believed. Consequently this album is a milestone in their career.

6. My favorites are: Papa Dont Preach, Open Your Heart, Live To Tell and La Isla Bonita.

7. This album belongs in addition to their two former albums to my youth. I hear Borderline, Dress You Up, or La Isla Bonita I feel again 17 * sigh * and all the memories and feelings to flow in upon me that their music with me triggers: the first love, class parties, the first kiss, slumber parties, school trips ...

All in all: "True Blue" is one of my favorites! What others think about me not care!
