He's a man - Sounds like Blues, accompanied by Big Band and Piano. A classic women's choir as backing vocals and Madonna, the strong places here in's stuff. She sings powerfully and well.
Sooner or later - A quiet title, radiates the typical bar atmosphere of that time. When accompaniment is a piano and a small Barorchester. Madonna hits the tones are not always good, which is that the song comes from the movie "Dick Tracy" and her role demanded it.
Hanky Panky - Quiet piano introduction, but then you go completely off. A cool wind sound that swings fully accompanied Madonna, who sings very well. Again, the brilliant female choir accompaniment. A fast pace invites directly to a dance too. Let's swing.
I'm going bananas - also a fairly fast pace. The sound is reminiscent of a beautiful tropical island. The song is swinging really good.
Cry Baby - The typical jazz bar music as background sound: piano, brass, female choir. Madonna's voice is here adjusted slightly (higher). Some of the passages are spoken. The song seems to me a bit like a fun title.
Something to remember - beautiful ballad. Madonna sings very soulful, almost a little sad. A quiet orchestral sound with beautiful strings and piano fits very well with the song. Sounds a bit after Blues. Best title of the album, class.
Back in business - A fast, very strong song. It has managed to combine good old swing with modern pop Madonna. The melody is immediately in the ear. In the verses of the sound is a bit withdrawn, but then the chorus, there's the full Big Band utilization, and it swings really cool.
More - 1: 1 from the movie comes this song. The Big Band puts itself fully to the wheel. It gives a quick sound with small breaks in between. As with Track 2 hits Madonna intentionally sounds not always. Especially when they and the choir "MORE" warble sounds sometimes very wrong.
What can you loose - a duet with Mandy Patinkin, also from the film. The musical accompaniment to this ballad is performed only with piano. They both sing very soulful.
Now I'm Following You - also a duet, here with Warren Beatty. The typical jazz sound in the background, between ingenious Step deposits. Beautiful melody. At about the middle of the transition occurs to PART II by simulated drive jump. From then on, the title sounds like a dance remix of the original. An understated bass as background and electronic edits the original passages. Thought this Part II was probably as a reconciliation to final title.
Vogue - Dance Classics 90s. This title probably knows anyone who has ever dealt with Madonna. A cool dance sound, an ingenious melody and a like unleashed singing Madonna. Legendary the list of her role models and idols in the intermediate part. Thus it draws the bow back in the past, therefore fits this sound so different from sounding song then again on this album.
Even if you have to listen to this album only, yet it is well managed and delivers once again a testament to Madonna's musical versatility. I was very impressed then that Madonna co-wrote a number of titles. Similarly, great music beyond the usual pop tunes she gave then again in 1997 when Evita soundtrack from. Here they had, however, the musical requirements of the musical composer ALWebber implement what you succeeded very well.
Even so Madonna may sound, simply by itself and without any technical adaptations.
