American Life, the album that should galvanize America. The hypocrisy and superficiality should be debunked, all Americans were suddenly patriots, the nation was divided.

Madonna has freedom and justice on the flag and wanted to reinforce its position with AMERICAN LIFE.

This was the well-intentioned approach.

But when almost all the media have pounced on it and the music and the visual presentation in the air torn (yes, I mean the video for American Life), the promotion has been reduced for the plate to a minimum and in the following videos gave up sexy dance shows and a nice styling.

Your political side you could only experience if you have bought a ticket for the Re-Invention Tour (their best show with a very good mix of old and new songs).

But with provocative videos they wanted to the great mass that is entscheident for Madonna's success continues to be, not alienate longer.

The songs in detail:

AMERICAN LIFE is very catchy and gets stuck. Great song. The text has not all too much to do with the video and the live performance, but that does less here. The sound is innovative and here she manages a good deal "Crossover".

Conclusion: Musically Madonna has drawn a summary of their past 10 years and perfectly combines many styles.
It was a 45-year content more than justice.

But consistency has never been their strength, at least not when it came to business. And here her business was in difficulty.

Since AMERICAN LIFE then there only trivial from her. After the entertaining Confessions and the creepy Hard Candy came.
True to the motto: if the masses only wanted to hear underground music, if you please. Then people get what they want.

Actually, the album has earned 5 stars. But that the good lady is but then caved in, there's a star deduction.

If you look at American Life and Madonna's career and life change in the context, then fizzled out their message on this album such as hot air.
She lives the ultra-luxury living, drags the daughter to Gucci and through their videos, buy townhouses as other people's shoes and a Dr @ ck cares about their fellow human beings.
The poorest of the poor you do not care, and money will only be donated, wenns in exchange are children for it.

Therefore Madonna gets 0 stars.
