All four 12V connections can be shared because the plug can be rotated in all directions. When connecting an MP3 transmitter that has to be placed outside. I have been connected together:
- 2GB car Cars Trucks Auto Car MP3 Player FM Transmitter USB SD Slot / AUX-IN
- Navi with straight plug
- USB charging cable phone
- Cooler with straight plug
A 12V connection was free, but would have been available. Problems with the fuse in the plug gabs not far.
Installation: I have not made them firmly, but placed on the center console or clamped between the seat and the console. You could be stuck or screwed on flat surfaces, but I need it not always.
Cable length: very long, a block can also be off-center.
Disadvantage: size, not easy to hide due to the 4 connectors-
Conclusion: recommendable
