Pro:
- Sturdy holder with suction cup
- Short charging time about 60 minutes
- Fast boot process and operational readiness in 6.1 seconds
- Simple menu guidance in multiple languages
- Good image quality with 1080p and about - clean processing
- Supply enough charging cable loosely around in an Audi Q5 from the mirror on the A-pillar up to the center console to lay.
- Data access via miniUSB accessible media will be recognized as external (Mac / Windows). To remove write permissions you do not have, however.
- Smooth pictures / images while driving
Cons:
-Dauertest Battery - Start operating on battery (fully), 1080p, LCD = 10 seconds dark, video recording duration A 5 minute
Result: After 45 minutes, the device turned off, battery empty.
Motion sensing - Start Operation by external power supply in exchange for the battery:
Result: unit switches from continuous recording (by default) to disconnect the power supply to demand on image recognition (battery). After re-coupling of the power supply externally retain this and not switched to the continuous recording. After further unifying the external power supply unplugging the device boots again, so do not use operation for normal car.
-Zusatzbeleuchtung - Start operation with additional lighting
turns permanently and not by photometry or on not even one if it is too dark.
- Scope of software - supplied
Adobe Reader and QuickTime Player can be supplied which is ok. However, no control software to possibly play a new firmware.
- No data cable supplied
- Start video recording mode with 720p and 1080p 5 minutes each.
Amazingly, the video of 720p (310MB) is greater than the 1080p (270MB). When 720p video image is in contrast to 1080p Focus the image farther away, so larger. One should assume that the foci of both image settings should be the same, this is not so - so am assuming that only the image section has been changed.
- LCD on / off option
When configured "OFF" the device responds just like in "switch off after 30 seconds." So finally functional. At each new detection "motion detection", the display is reactivated and thus consumes more electricity.
- Motion detection battery life - start operation at 1080p, LCD = OFF, OFF = FlashLED
after about 45 minutes, the device battery capacity has turned off, empty
Conclusion:
Except for the battery performance and the software error I am happy with the camera, just hope soon that there is a new firmware Indicates the fixes all software errors, then there are also 5 star
