I thought my motherboard would have suffered a defect, because no benchmark ran through and no large file (over a few hundred MB) could be successfully copy, but as well as the second and the third computer, apply identical problems, the problem seemed clear: Quality assurance was probably having a bad day. Speed itself is great, no question, at USB 2.0 and everything runs smoothly, but the low-cost NAND technology just takes its toll. Very sad Kingston, a real pity!
