It is unacceptable that the Parental Control for a PC you can not turn off as an administrator with the Fritz box. I have a Windows 8.1 PC and there a virtual machine with the operating system Ubuntu installed. I need professional for testing purposes. The host computer is registered in the Fritzbox as unrestricted use (child safety). For the extension of the wireless access, I used two repeaters. Why am I doing this? Because the Fritz box is two stories from the PC! and the wireless performance of the Fritz box is not sufficient! The virtual machine will be displayed in the Fritz box with the correct IP (IPv4) and MAC address. These received unrestricted access (via the Parental Control). Nevertheless, so-called by the Fritzbox the Internet on. "Parental Control" (which you now can not disable !!!) denied. That can not be true ?! Now I can no longer update the VM and no messages here about receiving more. Mind you - in my household there are no children! The responsible Product Manager of AVM I would prefer to cut the box around the ears. ;-)
As admin I can still log on at the Fritz box on the VM - and now? Why can not I as an administrator on the Fritz box a client not unlock ?? Love AVM - so we are not friends!
Conclusion: Unripe software! Sorry, but for more than two stars is not enough, even though I use Fritz boxes since min. 10 years. Above version 6.20 all was fine. Unfortunately, this bug in version 6.23 continues!
