ME 2 Especially for fans of action RPGs a must !!

Mass Effect 2 is one of my favorite role playing, although less RPG and more action is contained. But precisely this mixture of action adventure and role-playing game I liked to Mass Effect 2 as well. Because I have not played the previous, I was initially unsure if I should buy the game at all. Many gaming magazines have warned me that they would not understand the story of Mass Effect 2 Mass Effect without. Nevertheless, I must say that I was able to follow the plot well, if I did not understand everything right away. But now for the review, I try to introduce you to the game, from different angles, so that you know what to expect when making a purchase on you. And finally I will say it for whom is the game suitable and give a conclusion.

Action / story 4/5

About the story can and I will not say too much because I have not played the predecessors eventually and naturally not want spoilers. Only so much can be revealed, in the Milky Way (game world of Mass Effect) find strange abductions and destruction of human colonies instead. However, nobody knows these abductions and cancellations are made exactly by whom. In this relationship occurs Kommander Shepard, protagonist and person playing the game, into the spotlight. However, it is also very straight forward and you can probably already imagine how it ends. Serious topics such as betrayal, deception and revenge come here very often and are very well integrated. On of the story is well done, the whole but to straight. The voltage is correct but.

Important for role games are of course also the cutscenes and are terrific succeeded in Mass Effect 2. It's all there: time full of action, sometimes informative and sometimes deceiving. Sound and language are also an element of the game, in which there is nothing to complain about. The characters speak German all that music always match the mood and the sound effects when shooting or explosions have deserves all 5 stars. Again earned praise.

Mass Effect 2 can be controlled solid outside of battles, in the fighting, however, like to keep in mind that control is somewhat imprecise. Conclusion: If you like Action RPG can access here clearly, the mix of dialogues and action-packed battles is just great succeeded. Beinharte role players should purchase but think again and rather take a look at Dragon Age where definitely more RPG is included.
