Before you wonder, my first two blades are not broke, but were I "borrowed" or lost. The knives are simply ideal for all work in the kitchen. Although it officially is a vegetable knife, so I use it often for poultry or small pieces of pork. In itself, it remains a long spicy but so once a year I use a good whetstone to get it back "durchzuschärfen". Then the blade goes through just about everything in the kitchen, like butter ... except maybe coconuts :-)
