Flowers That is an absolute master of his trade, is beyond question. The Killers have for years been one of the few real variables in the music business, which differ from the annoying pabulum. Along with Coldplay at the time of my absolute favorites. Still, I was a bit skeptical at this solo album, too often these solo trips were a cheap copy of the tape. Properly good job has to jump at that time Richard Ashcroft of The Verve, which continued to develop not only musically but, amazingly, also vocally. And Flowers suggests there in the same notch. I have seldom heard an album that in addition to the many good pieces has so little weak songs. The first 4 tracks I would consistently called Pops, Hard is enough a great duet with very great text, Jilted Lovers is in my opinion the strongest track on the album, Las Vegas is as an opener totally energetic, lively, rock. Only the young there is something quiet, nevertheless awesome and beautiful. Playing with fire I find then weak or not as catchy as the rest of the song is to my mind quite simply too long and does not come right to the point, so running a little to himself. Was it something and Magdalena I find fundamentally sound, some passages actually pretty good, it follows then very late actually the first single Crossfire, which I believe also for sensational. This reminds me of the song a bit of human, although I avoid it consciously, Flowers to compare with the Killers, as you can also compare poorly with Özil Real Madrid ... Anyway, a very catchy, lyrically very beautiful piece that is not for nothing very successfully entered the charts. Finally, it is then twice more quiet, On the floor is the second song of the album somewhat weaker, here I just do the Pepp, the culmination. Sounds too monotonous and boring, although the Gospel similar background could be a great element guarantees. Here, however, he does not fit, just like the piece does not fit the album. Swallow it, however, I find very great! Super final, surprisingly quiet for a final track, often since (unfortunately) carved again unnecessarily long and loudly on the plaster. With about 3 minutes Swallow it is also the shortest song on the album. Conclusion: Super good, necessarily listen. Anyway, I'm reassured: If it this should not be the killer, we can look forward to at least another great solo albums of Brandon Flowers.
