This Corsair memory allowed me to upgrade an old PC HP / Compaq nx6110, running Xubuntu, but had only 256 MB of memory and was extremely slow, and thus almost unusable. By adding this Giga, the PC (now with 1256 MB) is again fully operational for the office, access to Internet and email or play videos. Previously, I had tried the same type and same capacity but different brand memory and PC no longer bootait (maybe the bar she had a fault). So for those who have an old HP / Compaq nx6110, this bar is a solution that works to restore a youthful look.
Happy to have found this type of memory (old) at Amazon. The Amazon delivery in due time as always!
