Merely average or top title?

One thing I want to emphasize directly to the beginning, I have pretty much played every role games that existed for PC and console. Ranging from Baldur's Gate, through Gothic 1-3, Oblivion etc etc - so have a few comparisons ;-) I would actually say to the positive points of the game not too much, because I think Fallout does almost everything right.

And the most important in a role-play, you can not really put into a review in words: The atmosphere. And that is in Fallout really succeeded. Sure, you do have to get used to the apocalyptic scenario, but it is that I find it very successful. Of course, the graphics are a bit monotonous, but I can (as some have already done this also) just saying - what you want, even after a nuclear war be expected? I think there is always and everywhere something new to discover and the game world captivates a. - Similar to the point that the enemy in the desert rather the exception than the rule should be: What do you want? If it would be swarming there against enemies, the game would be much too heavy. In addition, it is not for nothing wasteland;) Still, there are some negative points that can be more or less weight of its own:

Now if you look at all these negative points one would actually think that it is a bad or a maximum average game. - But this is not so. In my opinion Fallout3 is definitely among the best RPGs ever and the best games.

Sure, there are points of criticism - but what game does not please the?! Is there a game which is perfect? Rather no. Whether GTA IV, Oblivion, Final Fantasy, Gothic 1-3, Bioshock or whatever: you get all extreme high ratings even though they are not perfect fall far. So it is also with Fallout3.
Any criticisms I have mentioned, are made by a compelling game, a huge world with many possibilities and a unique setting and atmosphere for it.

The only point that bothers me really (as above), is the till L20 limited character development and that by the end you can not keep playing the game.

Bottom line, Fallout 3 is a great game for me, that one almost continuously motivated and from which you come off badly.
