MGR: 1st gear in red speed range!

The title of my review I have specially called so because MGR from 0 to 100 fully lacking but because some details are not over the hurdle of
1st gear also comes. I tell you why this is so.

About me: I have Metal Gear Solid 1-4 gambled and mastered all multiply. I am of this game series just thrilled.
I then learned that Metal Gear Rising comes out !!! What a surprise by Hideo wiedermal !! Cyborg Ninja Action with Raiden?!? Here I am there!

Caveat: MGR is as everyone knows, a spin-off and should "really" are not associated with Metal Gear Solid ... emphasis on actually
because I think that it still contains the name "Metal Gear" and thus in some way to the legendary story of Hideo Kojima build MUST !!!

very hingekriegt. The gameplay is top (more on that later) but the story may not make me know that that has earned an Oscar. Where previously opponents, allies and
the lead role in Metal Gear was declared lovely and it was understandable why the one who has done this and that ... here's everything viiieeeel too fast
and carelessly declared ... to fight against his enemies and really do not know why this Raiden stand in your way. Compare MGS 2 where Raiden against Fatman will surpass the crazed bomber of his master had to fight. As for the gameplay but makes Platinum Games so some wet again! PG has games like Bayonetta and Vanquish rausgebracht which have a very revolutionary and smooth gameplay allows. What the gameplay is made As virtually everything right in MGR. Raiden attacks look awesome! It's fun on the opponent bashing. There are additional weapons which are obtained from the bosses. These are typical Japanese shaped and each have their effect. As for the weapons selection, I can not complain here. it will offer a lot of variety. Let is becoming increasingly important to a point of us players. Each console ... Every game strives currently for a perfect graphics. I've played Metal Gear Solid 4 and am today excited about this video, and there are few games that can keep up. When MGR I was unfortunately very much disappointed this regard. ai ai ai ... what is the going on here. Let's start with the Charaktären - see this fact graphically done pretty good. Say: Raiden himself, enemies, bosses, etc. But what I am As for the area very strongly disappointed. I mean how can you have a car in so planting a game which has textures as my PS2 titles. That simply is not !!! I'm not a graphics fetishist but this can not be, the environment of Raiden is shown as such unloving and poor. Cars, houses, banks ... in general everything that is around to Raiden looks so weak. Since almost my eyes are fallen out. As I have also mentioned earlier short plays at the graph of BLADE MODE an important role ... This is where I find that there simply has been unable me the Brutal Feeling I serve up a very powerful zerfetze mensché ... Oh Stop It is yes so did "only" a cyborg !!! It's just fine slept Platinum Games in your games never quite hinkriegt. To put it bluntly ... it feels like as if a part of the PS2 and the other produced for the PS3. Short yet an explanation for in-game music. Here everything was done correctly. The music fits perfectly with Raiden and the atmosphere. It is a kind of ... fast rock with good singing places ... ^^ hard to explain definitely very entertaining!

We come to the last point. How Raiden presented in his first own game? I have the same advance to say that I'm really intrigued by the idea.
With a Cyborg Ninja can do veeeery much and it shows in Rising. Raiden loses an arm - so what ?? Three weeks later, he comes back stronger. This game is mainly laid much on future technology value. very suitable for the Metal Gear genre. with Raiden's debut with this game, I'm ambivalent ... for one, we have a very cool character stands up for the weak on the other hand a Raiden who works at a company as a kind of security ... hmmmm I do not know .... . everyone must judge for themselves. Rising is very fast, action-packed and varied. Who Raiden
has seen in the previous parts should dress here equally warm !! Raiden so has some new tricks up his sleeve! What I liked personally are the enemy units, which really act moderately METAL GEAR! Well done PG !! Totaly offers us a PG super new genre in the Metal Gear universe but which is still very upgradeable. I'm looking forward to the 2nd part which determines eradicates the negative aspects!

I forgive 3 of 5 stars for Gesammtwertung - to give more would just be unfair to the masterpiece from Hideo Kojima and generally the gamer industry.
Do not misunderstand - MGR is worth seeing but if you critically evaluated I think that has not deserved it (besides the fun factor: 5 Stars)

Rising does many things right. with Raiden you can a new main character in the Metal Gear series celebrate! and Rest assured that will come out a 2nd part her. I personally look forward to the second part already NOW !!

as well as "ALL CUTTING" You can really !! this feature PG has super developed and invented. Of course, this is still expandable ... but that can be forgiven Platinum Games. The gameplay is, of course, how easy is just grandiös and bombastic! You have a good selection of weapons that can you inserting against your super staged opponents. Rising attaches great importance to a future technology, especially the cyborg - that fits perfectly into this world to do so.
Above all, the Boss Fights having done to me. Very different and just awesome! Only the story and the textures around inhibit the game of Rising. Here, I hope for improvement in the next part.
