I use the RFID reader in conjunction with a Raspberry Pi Model B Rev 2, for arming my alarm system. For this I use the Python library MFRC522. I have adapted the Read.py file for my purposes. Everything worked perfectly and runs in continuous operation ever since. To use the module with the MFRC522 library needs the package SPI-py be installed and enabled the SPI bus of Raspberry.

I am very satisfied and this product can therefore recommend.
