Actually, this is a great tool rest, but the rest without fabric covering tends to easily stick in the summer to the skin. This is very unangnehm and prevents a liquid move the forearms / wrists on the pad. I prefer apparently a pad with fabric cover.
Otherwise, great workmanship and odorless. Price of about 18 I find a bit too high.
